Checking For Trace

Artisan Soapmakers often talk about ‘reaching Trace’ when they are making soap. ‘Trace” basically signifies that the soap is ready and has been mixed thoroughly enough that the oils and water in the recipe are emulsified. It takes lots of patience as it usually takes time to reach ‘trace’.
